Betty Garner has done a wonderful job of giving teachers the practical information they need to identify areas where students lack strong cognitive structures. Not only does she do this, but she gives easy to follow suggestions for helping students build those structures so they can be successful. A must read for all teachers Pre-K to adult learners.

OBJECTIVE: This book study is designed to help you make connections between the text and your personal and professional situations and experiences. Posting to the WIKI will allow a collaborative forum to exist between all book study participants.

TIME AND CREDIT: You will receive 8 hours of credit for participating in the book study. This includes the time needed to read the book and complete the 5 responses in each section and the Final Reflection Activity.

EXPECTATIONS: You are expected to read the book. We have divided it into 3 sections. After you read the chapters in each section complete the responses as assigned.
Each section contains 3 REQUIRED questions to which you must POST an answer.
Then there are several other questions that you may choose from to post TWO ADDITIONAL answers.
